This descriptive-correlational study sought to determine the leadership style of lending managers in Laguna. Fifty-five formal lending company managers were randomly selected and were asked to answer a survey questionnaire. The results showed that the three leadership styles are in equal force. Laissez-faire leadership is evident among the respondents regardless of their age. Authoritarian leadership style is more evident in the respondents who are aged 48 or above while democratic leadership style is more evident in the respondents who are aged 18-27. It is also evident in those who are in businesses that are 5-6 years in operation. Democratic leadership, on the other hand, is more evident in those in business that are 7 or more years in operation. Finally, when the respondents opt to pull out a product/variant in their business, the more evident is their laissez-faire leadership.
